Having consistent daily training from a professional allows for focused, purposeful, structured learning ensuring your puppy has the consistency she needs to learn more quickly and build the foundational life skills and critical socialization she needs for well-balanced, happy, healthy life.

HOW IT WORKS

l come to your home, pick your puppy up and spend 1-1.5 hours training your puppy for 4 days, with one day being a socialization field trip. On the 5th day we have a very important ‘transfer session’. This is where we work together and I will teach you the necessary skills to maintain the training for the long haul. I transfer the skills to you that your puppy has learned. You will work to maintain the skills that I have taught your puppy while I start the next week of training new skills. The weeks then repeat for as long as we need in order to reach your goals.

Homeschool training culminates with two coaching sessions several weeks apart. This where we work together and continue to maintain, build, troubleshoot, generalize, and proof behaviors. Your puppy is rapidly growing and changing and relies on you, and actually needs you for her continued success.

This program is ideal for all puppy behaviors except potty training. The best option for potty training is coaching.

As your puppy becomes an adolescent everything changes. Your puppies needs, brain, and body are changing, therefore training focus will change. At our last session, we will discuss further training and continuing your puppy’s success through the adolescent months. At this point, we may schedule another day, another week, or more Homeschool training.
